Chief Accountant (m/f)

Permanent position

We are looking for a dedicated Chief Accountant (m/f) as soon as possible in order to reinforce our accounting department.

You share responsibility for our accounting department and preparations for the publication of annual and interim financial statements under the German Commercial Code (HGB), including auditing by the external auditors.

Responsibilities

Financial accounting (supervision and reconciliation of accounts)
Accounts receivable and asset ledgers
Monthly advance VAT notifications and quarterly summary reports
Supervision of cash management
Preparations for the publication of annual financial statements
Payroll accounting (supervision and support)
Verification of travel cost settlements
Support for monthly controlling evaluations

Your profile

Education as a chief accountant
Several years of accounting experience, preferably in an SME (including payroll processing)
Very good MS Office skills
Excellent understanding of Lexware Premium
Independent, structured approach to your work, assuming personal responsibility
Team spirit and communication skills
High resilience and flexibility
